They should be good, but they aren't
Design flaw: These shorts are for a 4-5 year old who is new to tying knots. They are too loose and the strings are loose and fall off. If I tie strings, I put my little one at risk of going to the bathroom at school. The belt needed to be tighter so the shorts could be worn without tying the drawstring.
