Pretty decent ottoman for the price. Bought with the intention of adding 1.5" casters instead of legs and it worked pretty well. The bottom is strong enough but only about 1/4" to 3/8" thick so it's still a question how long they will last. Also, the screws used only protrude slightly into the interior of the stool and you will probably never notice them unless you feel them. making another change to the lid as the little feet that keep the lid centered and in place were too close together and allowed too much play (1/2 inch overlap on one side or the other). This was easily fixed with a Phillips head screwdriver, simply reattaching these legs 1/4 inch from their original position. The lid is now securely centered. Inside there is enough space for a large soft blanket and there is still room for items. in the pockets. The stitching could be a bit better, but overall I'm still satisfied.
