Two versions of the Crinkle Brush

The Crinkle Brush is really good but there are two versions. There is an older version and a newer version, I'm not exactly sure when the difference was made. The old version is more like a compressed conical round brush. The newer version is a bit sparser and has feathers on the ends. The old version was really good for getting rich colors and blending them. The new version is good because it has a lighter and shaded color. The old version fit snugly in the gusset pocket and stayed there, you had to lift it up a bit to blend it out. The new version runs more or less in the gusseted pocket, a little higher and a little lower. You can still pack color with the newer version if you iron it. The newer version is also very good for achieving Percision highlights on the nose, under the eyebrow and in the inner corner of the eye. Both variants are good and worth the money. Definitely recommend having a few in your collection.
