Review on Orion Motor Tech High Pressure Compressor by Jeff Rhodes

This pump is amazing, got it today and have used it 3 times to fill up my paintball gun tank and cheap 48cc empire tanks. Wherever tanks are filled, with the exception of paintball stations with fast-fill stations, it's about the same. Which is good for me because it limits the amount of water in the air. The lack of a tank also contributes to this. As you can see I installed a pump in a 5 gallon bucket to ensure a constant supply of cold water as the air gets very hot when compressed to this pressure. As far as I can tell the filter I found actually works great and there was no moisture in the filter and the tank went from minimal to zero with every fill. When the snorkel site fills my tank there is still some moisture with the shots in it and so far I haven't had one with that but maybe the snorkel shop needs a new filter. doubts though. I have two more awards on the way, both tanks are 4500psi and that's the theoretical limit of this pump, but I see it can be scaled up, sure is another matter. Overall I'm really excited about it, it takes over an hour to get air for my marker so having this setup in my garage and ready to go is amazing and it makes the sport more enjoyable for me as it gives you the opportunity to get a chronograph and really learn how to set up your markers. I would say don't do what others have done and buy an extra $100 filter because guess what I did, I bought it and don't need it. Right now I'm in the dry mountains and that might make a difference, so if you're in a humid area maybe get a filter. Either cotton medium and charcoal or a mix of the two is best for residual oil or moisture in the air, as well as silica gel packs, which you get free with paintball purchases. (don't use the one from the beef jerky pack if you don't like fluffy beef jerky 😄)
