Review on π Dorman 749-104 Front Driver Side Power Window Regulator: Ideal Replacement for BMW Models by Shahed Cleveland
A great product when installed correctly!
I installed it myself on 750Li and saved over $500. It's been 3 months since installation and it's still working. I highly recommend cleaning the window rails and lubricating them with some type of silicone grease. Most of them fail due to a build up of debris and/or some sort of obstruction that causes stress and causes the mechanism to break. A clean and lubricated channel means the window moves freely and there are no problems.
