Cook cheap, used once already broke

Made my first sandwich with this sandwich maker today, order this. A few minutes after I closed the sandwich maker, I heard a loud bang and the lid flew off. It's just a very weak spring attached with a plastic clip (see attached photo). I am very disappointed in the poor workmanship of this product. I was planning to return it to the manufacturer but am responsible for shipping to send it back for a replacement. It's outrageous. What a waste of $15. Save money and buy something else.

Toasting results, sandwich after sandwich: a warm toasted sandwich is always a good idea for a quick, hearty meal
