As the name suggests, this is not a quick replacement. Unless I'm slow and uncoordinated. The instructions are by no means complete. It says to separate the two sides hard, then place the circuit board, etc. The instructions don't say that the key blade needs to be replaced and that you need to use the hinge part. It looks very similar to an OEM part, but it is not. You need to remove the small pin on both the original key and the blank, and then insert the original key (the one with the groove) into the new loop. This requires some patience and time. We were eventually able to replace it but still need a professional to check as now the key doesn't seem to want to close and my remote start isn't working. Pro: still cheaper than going to the dealer.
