My last tablet was a Samsung Note, great little device. But Samsung isn't happy with updates to its charts. Eventually I needed a new one and wanted to try it and see if I could do a little better in terms of cost. Given the TangoTab's low price, I figured I'd still be over $200 ahead of the Note even if it doesn't get an update in a year or two. TangoTab is a great tablet. Setup was quick, the battery lasts quite a long time, there's plenty of storage, and Android 7 was a pleasant surprise. What TangoTab doesn't have are dozens of preinstalled apps. And i really like it. Samsung had apps like Nook that were useless and couldn't be removed. TangoTab comes with very few preinstalled apps and you decide what to add. Simban's startup graphics aren't as pretty as Samsung's, but hopefully you're not basing your purchasing decisions on the splash screen. I would buy this tablet without hesitation.
