Review on Delcast Watt Precision Soldering Iron by Christian Young

I liked this simple cheap iron that uses copper inserts on the tips of the rods that fit in the bundle I already have. Copper gets eaten away by the flux pretty quickly, but you can grind the tip down to any profile and expose copper cans like a dream. Unfortunately, the heating element failed and broke the circuit after only a few hours of use. I ordered two more and will see if it was an accident. Addendum: Jacobparts is an excellent seller! He saw my review and offered to replace it, after I replied they sent me a new iron, several new attachments and a tracking number. Wonderful. I will update my review again after spending a few hours on the iron. Bravo Jacobparts!
