Low price for low quality

I bought them in 2014 but did not need them and have not opened the packaging until now (November 2020). One of the cable connectors is not making proper contact with the inside of my device. I tested it with another cable (not this one) that works great. But I have to attach, twist and hold this cable for every connection.
