Basically does its main job of blowing cold air better than most other manufacturers but some quality of life flaws. The Bad: 1. The window kit is a joke - comes with 3 pieces (about 6 inches wide) that fit most windows. The kit contains 6 screws. Yes, Phillips screws. You will need to screw them in on each side of the window kit. to fix it at the correct height/width. Great if you never plan on moving your device. PITA if you move your device frequently. much UV every day. Can't be bad, can it? My suggestion, buy something like this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SC4876H/ or do what I probably will - return the unit for a refund, then buy from a manufacturer that doesn't equal cheap and /or short-sighted. 2. There is no pocket, not even a compartment to store the remote control. They spent time/money/research to shape all sorts of curves, vents and openings. into the device, but nobody thought of designing a small cup or compartment for storing the remote control? 3. No hooks for power cords. The Honeywell unit costs a few dollars more (https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-HF0CESWK6-Portable-Conditioner-Dehumidifier/dp/B08XJQBZVZ) but includes this stupid QOL (Quality of Life) feature. Has a thermostat that looks like a 'follow me' feature which is pretty much useless in my opinion - they should have spent that time adding the QOL features I mentioned and lowering the price a bit as a by-product. 5. Water leaks out when moving. The block appears to be designed to remove excess moisture, so there is a reservoir under the block to hold the condensate up to that point. This is the same place where the rubber stopper is. So be sure to remove this plug to drain the unit before moving it as there will always be some water there or on your floor afterwards. Advantages: 1. The block is short and light compared to other blocks with less power.2. The top panel is informative, as I said removes one of the best designs - you don't have to get up to see the changes.3. The vents are adjustable, albeit with a quality of life issue - you take one of the already weak fins to adjust it up/down. Lever to the side would be better in the long run. Overall a good but not great buy for $430. But for comparison, I have a 20-year-old Soleus with a power cord hook, remote storage, and a removable drip tray. Find out.
