the first one i received was broken and not working but the airunmi seller replied to my email immediately and i received a new one one day after i requested a refund from amazon : Go to the settings and enable the option "WIRED connection of the Pro controller", then plug the console into the controller. It works as a wired controller and plugs into the USB-C port on the bottom. THE CONTROLLER DOES NOT NEED TO BE CHARGED. But it does have a charging cable port so you can charge your console while you play, which is amazing considering how much faster you use the battery in portable mode. I just hooked up a new one and it works great! I even like the alternative arrangement of the plus and minus buttons, which makes sense at the bottom. It will probably take some time to get used to. Also, they have 3 different types of buttons for the right analog stick, which is nice. The plastic is very durable and not cheap. It also holds the system more securely so it doesn't wobble like the Joy Con controller can. I look forward to many years of gaming with this controller!
