I don't normally write bad reviews but I have ordered two of these. The first had a tiny piece of plastic where the cable connects to the iPhone, preventing a full connection, so the cable didn't charge my phone on the first day. I cut the plastic with a office knife. I was then able to connect it but had to balance the phone perfectly because if the cable was too far it wouldn't charge and if it was too far it wouldn't charge. The second cable worked great. A week long. Then it stopped charging altogether, and I'm pretty sure it shorted out my keyboard's USB port in the process. This port used to be my dedicated iPhone charging port, but after using this cable in the port for a week it stopped working at all. The USB port of the keyboard is not getting any power at all. DO NOT BUY THESE CABLES. Spend $5-$10 more and buy Apple cables, they really work and last and Apple will replace them if there is a problem within the first year. You will end up regretting your purchase with this Belkin crap. I can't believe something as simple as a power cord could be so nifty enough to work. This isn't rocket science Belkin.
