I was skeptical about buying one of these mainly because I've never used a pressure cooker before. As I'm always in a hurry and always have a lot of company, this 8 liter pot meets my needs for the amount of food I can put in it. It works like a slow cooker and with the variety of foods you can cook in it, you don't need anything else. You can sear/stew - which I LOVE - just leave the lid on and cook like you would a regular pot, but NEVER use oil. It takes at least 1 cup of liquid (water, broth, etc.) to cook whatever food you want, and it comes with a vegetable steamer, meaning you can use it to cook chicken, etc. too. The first one I made. it had beef ends in it. They were incredibly soft! And in less than HALF the time it would take my oven or regular slow cooker. The liner (the part of the pot used for cooking) is easy to remove and doesn't stick. All of this is easy to clean. My only gripe, if you want to call it that, is that I wish the lid's latch position was "clicked" better. Sounds a little weird, but hey, it's a saucepan. Trust me, it will get your money's worth and then some. This is the best kitchen appliance I have ever owned and I love it even more than my air fryer. I highly recommend buying this brand as it literally plugs in, turns on and presses to the right settings. It also has manual settings, but with preset programming I feel much more confident using it.
