The flashlight itself is good - it's light and stylish. The beam of light is not particularly well distributed, but it is suitable for city driving at night in light conditions. I have a Metro certified 750 lumen Cygolight lamp which is just as bright and has better beam spread. yes it costs more But it keeps its lumens. It's not very expensive to make a 1000 lumen light and it can easily be made for $30. But this one doesn't even bring 1000 lumens, let alone 2400 lumens. So don't waste your time and money when you need bright light. If you just want a cheap city light then this is a great solution. If you need lumens for night riding in dark conditions, this isn't it. But don't buy it because it supports a company using fraudulent methods.
