Review on SR SP12 Suntour Suspension Seat Post by Mike Wachtel

I know this device has tons of rave reviews, but if you're a light person like me, you probably won't be as impressed. I weigh about 135, and even with the "lightweight"/soft suspension in this thing (which I had to order separately from Suntour for about $15 [and is said to be rated for 100-140 pound folks]) the Cushioning quite good, not great. Specifically: This thing has about 2 inches of travel, which is great. But at my light weight, I can only get about 3/4 inch of cushioning on a big bump at the top. So the difference is not big. If Suntour or someone else came up with an even softer spring, I'm sure it would be great for lighter guys like me or lighter women, but it's not.
