Review on πŸ”Œ JBtek Acrylic Transparent Base Plate & Terminal Optimizer Breadboard for Arduino UNO R3: Enhancing Arduino Projects with Enhanced Connectivity and Versatility by Jeff Jordan

Overpriced and read my assembly instructions

Something like this was supposed to be $3 or $5 at most, but it was $10. I liked everything about this unit so I bought it and kept it. How difficult is assembly? It's just a sheet of plastic and a few screws, but it was surprisingly difficult to figure out. At first my Elegoo Arduino didn't match the holes. But flipping the plastic panel solved it. Now. Installing the racks as shown on the Revain page is incorrect. When you screw the 4 nuts onto the board you will see that one of the nuts is too close to the I/O connector to screw on. See first photo. So I took everything apart and flipped the posts so they were attached to the other side of the plastic (see pics 2 and 3) and then I was able to install those 4 tiny screws through the top of the Arduino. . Now all 4 posts are securely fastened. Photo 4 shows a complete installation, which is convenient for me. There are no instructions in the box, but the photo on the Revain page was wrong for my setup. It's possible that not all Arduino boards follow the same standard. In addition, the breadboard is simply fixed with a stick. As many others have commented, my breadboard has warped, but the back tape aligns it nicely. Hope this helps someone else. If I had to do this over and over again I would buy this one from Revain. More room to work with a larger breadboard and only a few dollars more. Also supports Arduino Mega.
