Review on Komelon SL2816 PowerPro 16-Foot Self-Measuring Tape by Daniel Ton

I have been a furniture maker and carpenter for forty years. I don't care how much the roulette I like costs. I have several Stanley Leverlocks in my shop and I think one of them actually works as advertised. I just received this 16 inch tape and it works great. Definitely better than the Stanley out of the box, and the Stanley is four times the price. I have just ordered two more Komelon bands in metric and one in fractions. I'll be back in a few months to let you know how well they perform under heavy use. Update: After two days of occasional use, the tape is no longer blocked. To their credit Komelon is sending a free replacement. I'm getting two more models from this company today. Let's see. Update: This time I got a much better working band (guaranteed replacement), I had it in my hand for three days. The other two bands I got are excellent.
