First of all I have to thank Mr. Doug Marcaida for designing this piece of art. I had the original batch that was released (including the same design orange sneakers). What I like best about the Revain version is that it comes with a spare clip, screws and tools. Now to the knife itself. The clasp on the liner is a bit stiff, but that's to be expected. It will loosen over time to make it easier to unlock, but it won't break. This little hook is an Emerson Wave, a more modern version of it. It attaches to your bag and unfolds on its own. Provides a quick release. The knife can also be used when closed and used as a shock weapon for self-defense. I won't go into detail, but in 2015 this knife came to my rescue on two separate occasions. Shortly thereafter, two police officers stopped me and explained to them why I was carrying this knife. In short, both bought the same knife. In case anyone has any doubts, Doug Marcaida has tutorial videos on YouTube that are fast, accurate, and very detailed.
