This is a great baby snowsuit. The top half of the interior, including the hood, is lined with soft sherpa. Lower half lined with nylon fabric. All outer fabrics are water-repellent. I particularly like the child's chin guard over the zipper to prevent the zipper from digging into baby's tender skin. It's awesome! The whole costume is like a down jacket. The manufacturer calls it "Thermarator Insulation", I call it soft and warm. I've never seen an either/or option in a snowsuit and it's so cool. You can make it into a snowsuit with the heavy duty snaps in the center section of the snowsuit, or you can use the same snaps to shape the legs. Thanks to quick release buckles, this snowsuit can now be used with seat belts in a child car seat or stroller. This winter overall is made of 100% polyester (fabric, lining and padding) except 100% nylon. According to the tag, this snowsuit is machine washable on a gentle cycle and line dry only – in other words, very easy to care for. DO NOT DRY CLEAN. This is a high quality winter jumpsuit with good design and quality. Your little darling will be warm and cozy in this winter overall. And you have options for how you need/want to use it.
