2021 RZR Trail - Let your intuition guide you through the installation

This is a pretty easy install if you skip the instructions that come with the E-Brake grip and let your intuition guide you. I installed this grip on my 2021 Polaris RZR Trail Ultimate. Instructions with photos are printed by a black and white laser printer. The images were very difficult to interpret. I gave in and let my instinct guide me through the process. The instructions only made sense after I figured out where the mounting bracket would be installed. I installed the handle in this position, thinking it wouldn't bother me while riding. I haven't seen if he stays away yet. This button works by applying light pressure to the brake lever, which is located just above the master cylinder valve/rod. I'm not sure what it's called...it takes very little effort to press and release. It may be better to apply the brake and then lock the handle to minimize bolt head wear. The installation would have taken 10 minutes if everything was clear from start to finish. I hope the pictures of the final installation I've included will save you some headaches. Otherwise, this product makes a well-made impression. I have yet to see how much it will rumble on my first ride with it installed. Seems like it might get a little noisy. When this happens I will look for a way to silence the rattling.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
