Nice model, too simple
I am fascinated by these mechanical calculators. The inscriptions on the product give it a mysterious and esoteric touch. Either way, it takes about 30 minutes to get ready. The instructions were mostly clear. The hardest part was getting the pieces out of the cutout and dealing with the tiny pieces of wood. You need something that acts as a mallet/hammer and you need a good thumb and forefinger grip. Assembled seems to work fine except the locking mechanism is unusable. In general, a decent model. I wanted to like it, but it's too simple to call a "puzzle" and too small to use as a display piece.
