As a nurse, I'm on my feet for at least 12 hours per shift (usually around 14 hours per shift)! I've tried many other nurse shoes (cleats and Snibbs to name a few) and looked to Hoka for my next pair. Despite hearing amazing things about the Hoka and Max Cushion shoes, I wanted to try them out without spending $200. So I found them, saw great reviews and ordered them. I also bought some Rust-Oleum that never gets wet to protect them from water as I come into contact with all sorts of 'liquids'. Whether I'm handing out medication while pushing my cart, walking to Code Blue, or even standing in my patient's room to listen to their concerns, these shoes are awesome! They're comfortable, light, roomy in the toe box, true to size and surprisingly durable. I fight over these things, I even take them with me! Very impressed, will buy more pairs! If you are a runner or a medic, buy these! Just make them waterproof and you're gold!
