Review on THOMEN Resistant Protection Kitchen Mandolin: Enhanced Safety and Durability by Bobby Blanton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well, tested and not cut through. Definitely recommend.

Works very well. I tried very hard to intentionally cut them, but they didn't even crack. And then I tried them on my hands and tried to cut them, but they still didn't crumble and I didn't feel anything. I tried poking a little with the tip but didn't want to try that hard. I felt a sting, but they're more for cuts than stabs. And who knows, I didn't try very hard with the shot, but it could have held and saved from a lot of damage. I don't rate him on hits because he will never pierce our hands with the point unless we do something terribly wrong lol. But I've tried serrated and smooth knives and none of them affected the gloves at all and my hand was perfectly safe. I bought them for the kitchen cut we bought. It was a 5 star slicer even though many of the photos in the reviews showed badly cut, bleeding or bandaged hands. Despite heavy bleeding with drops of blood everywhere, they said it just shows the slicer was working really well and bloody thumbs up the entire time. So I figured I'd buy these gloves for me and my wife to avoid all of that and stop adding bloody 5 star photo reviews. We probably won't need to use them for regular slicing as we're pretty good with knives, but slicers can get slippery and I've seen these gloves save us from fingertips and scars. I definitely recommend them. According to tests I've done, they've proven to work with no issues.

Pros
  • Outstanding comfort. The unique cross-knit technology and stretchy material offers excellent support and fits a wide range of hand sizes. It also ensures maximum breathability for those long-term processes, keeping your hands dry and comfortable. Does that surprise you?
