I bought these mainly to moisturize my dry hands at night. So far I haven't noticed any difference in dry cracked skin after 3 days. However, they at least prevent the lotion from soaking into my sheets/pillowcase and leaving a greasy residue. This is a plus. Another plus is that the gloves feel very soft. Cons: Fingers are short. They have excellent stretch, so when you first put them on, the material stretches just enough for the fingers of the glove to fully fit the swimming area of the hand. But after just a few minutes, the material rebounds and the glove's "land area" is half an inch from the "land area" of my hand. Another disadvantage is that the seams of the glove make the fingertips bulky and uncomfortable and bunch up under the nail. However, this is solved very easily by simply turning the gloves inside out and sewing the outside of the glove.
