Review on Sony XSMP1611 6 5 Inch Marine Speakers by Sergey Chodavarapu

I bought these Sony speakers to replace those that look like Pioneer car speakers (the Pioneer grille is rusted and the rubber around the diffuser is deformed). Initially I wanted to go with another brand, but the main unit and speakers were Sony, so I decided to stick with this brand. I was hesitant to order them at first due to reviews saying they didn't last at all. Time will tell, I will update in a year. Pros: They were easy to install. The holes in the old speakers matched. Even if I had to mark the holes for the speakers it wouldn't take long. The sound quality was really good. Nothing premium, but I was surprised they sounded so good for the price. Bad: The only thing that comes to mind is the small speaker jacks. One spade is a quarter inch and the other is 1/8. I don't have those tiny jacks in the box of wired connectors. Who? Lol Overall I'm very happy with these speakers. I hope they last more than a few seasons and I don't have to downgrade my rating.
