Review on πŸ”‹ Dive into Power with the DEWALT DCH133B Brushless D Handle Rotary Tool by Jack Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Initially I was torn between this and the much more expensive compact version but I'm so glad I got this one

Much more expensive Dewalt DCH273B or this one? This. If you don't plan on doing a lot of overhead drilling and don't want to use a hepa filter, buy this drill bit! It's noticeably lighter and more powerful. I'm an electrician and this drill saved me hours of fiddling with wires and/or fighting 8 guys over a cordless rock drill on a construction site. I share the opinion of another reviewer when I say that my biggest problem is keeping my colleagues from renting. I was initially torn between this and the much more expensive compact version, but I'm so glad I got this one. It's lighter (important as I'm already carrying over 100 pounds of tools), it takes up less room in my bag (the compact version might be shorter, but it's a brick!) and it's noticeably more powerful. . So why buy the compact version? In some cases compactness makes sense (e.g. drilling holes for wedge anchors to secure an already installed heavy switchgear - the compact version can be used inside the switchgear with less effort). Even if you've been drilling cement overhead all day, a hepa filter will definitely save your life. I might buy the compact version at some point depending on what I need at work, but it will become my daily inventory! and battery life left Dewalt as my top pick. :)
