The quality of the leather is actually quite good. I actually really like this maroon color, the design and fit aren't necessarily bad. The gold lining is good, it is a material that blocks RFID scanning. Unfortunately I had to return it due to the poor fit. I tried to insert my credit cards in all slots (up to 4-5 cards max) and not 7 cards as advertised. It becomes practically useless after I slip my driver's license and 3 credit cards into the appropriate slots - it gets very cramped and it seems impossible to insert any more cards or cash into the larger slots. I like tight fitting wallets, but NOT tight fitting ones. There should be a spot where the cards can be easily pulled out or removed. If the design and fit improves for a better fit in the future I will consider purchasing. Meanwhile, my current wallet is thin, fits perfectly, has a nice design and suits my needs better.
