Hello everyone, I am very, very concerned about anyone using this product after it was determined that the electromagnetic field it emits is criminally high. And it's not just a hippie concern - it's based on scientific evidence and advice from our own (US) government, European governments and the World Health Organization. The recommended level of EMF exposure in your home is less than 1 mGs (Milligoss). The US government requires cell phones to emit no more than 1.5 mgauss. I measured this air purifier with a high quality, accurate EMI detection device and it emits over 350 mga. THREE FIFTY mg. This is so scary. At this level, cancer is practically guaranteed. I really don't understand how it's legal to sell something like this. Please DO NOT buy this item, especially if there are children in your family. I don't want to sound like I'm referring to a specific brand, but I found a couple who specialize in low EMF air purifiers. Just search google for a low EMF or low radiation air purifier and you will find some suggestions as well as a description of how to find it (e.g. search for air purifiers that are DC powered, not AC powered).
