Bought a base 2004 PT Cruiser with 68k on the motor. I averaged 23 city trips and 28 highway trips on the first few tanks of gas. Replacing the factory airbox with this intake kit gave me the results I expected: an improvement of about 4mpg both city and highway, as well as a noticeable increase in power. I got 32 mpg highway on a 1600 mile trip and now average 27 mpg city. I haven't made any other modifications or changed tires so the increase in fuel economy can be attributed to replacing the factory airbox. It is very easy to install; All you need is a couple of sockets and a screwdriver. Worth the price.
