This was chosen and given to my daughter. While it's lightweight and suitable even for summer weather, we found it fell apart in the first wash! After my return window I'm not sure if this is done correctly. My daughter decorated her room with this blanket and she loves it! It just seems like it has a bad line and possibly other issues causing it to tear. My daughter is 19 and she's not the type to take care of things badly. She also looks fine, but tears are NOT fixable. Is there a chance that the seller has good customer service? If not, you will have to buy a new one soon. Without damage and desertion, this is a great comforter! Like a cloud.
