Prevents casseroles from slipping in the pan.

I haven't used them for baking yet. I ordered after removing the casserole from the oven which I placed on a drip tray. As I removed it, the panel began to slide and before I could stop it, it was lying on the floor upside down. (My sweet husband is into tacos!) Since the mats arrived I've used them to stabilize other dishes and they don't budge at all. Even if I never use them for baking, they are worth the money. I don't like scraping lunch off the floor!
