I read the review on this item before buying two of these. Another review mentioned that stainless steel gets a lot of fingerprints. I thought the person writing the review might be overly critical, but I have to upvote this review. The ice bucket is robust and double insulated and I like it very much. I think they will last a long time. If you only use it occasionally when guests come over, fingerprints probably aren't an issue. We use two of these in our Airbnbs every day and I actually have to polish them with glass cleaner every day to remove fingerprints. It's probably not a big deal not to buy this quality product, but you will get fingerprints.
