This is an AMAZING espresso machine. It is very high quality, looks beautiful and quickly and easily prepares the perfect cup of espresso, americano, lungo or MYCUP according to your wishes. With minimal effort, I was able to brew my first cup of espresso by following the quick guide included in the owner's manual. There's a slight learning curve to fine tuning the features to your preferences. But it's that simple! And makes delicious espresso! It really is like that! I've tried others that lose pressure on first use or produce a weakly diluted version of coffee; not so at Cafe Affetto. It does what it advertises. I've been using it for two days now and have learned how to fill the water tank (don't need to yet but wanted it to be filled for company over Thanksgiving weekend) by parking the car sideways under the closet for access turn , it's easy. I also learned how to adjust the grind, this has to be done with the grinder running (by lifting the lid on top of the grinder and turning the knob towards the smaller hole for a finer grind. Too fine and it can clog). . Coffee machine, so I chose hole number 2. With this setting, the espresso is strong and aromatic. I also set the grind time to 5.5 seconds using the SMARTHQ app. The first day my app had to be updated 2 or 3 times. and it really didn't work well. But the next day I tried again and it was fully functional and able to accept my individual preferences and adjust the MYCUP function. So hang in there and be patient. . You have to pay a lot for an espresso machine, but who pays for quality? I did a lot of research and found that espresso machines cost a lot more but they break all the time. Quality and Reliability. Did I mention how beautiful it is? Goes perfectly with my spotless steel kitchenware. Wonderful!
