Everything was fine with the new cartridges on my Epson Home Expression XP440 all in one. An automatic software update for the printer was started with these cartridges and now not all cartridges are recognized and I can't use the error or printer can't clear message. 4 hours working on it. Based on research, Epson has firmware that does not recognize genuine Epson cartridges. A lesson learned a little later is never to update the printer software. This is because their name brand cartridges are ridiculously cheap. To be honest these DIDs work before the update. I contacted them to let them know. At the same time, if you intend to use these cartridges, DO NOT MAKE ANY FUTURE UPGRADE TO THE PRINTER, otherwise they will turn out to stop working.
