Review on Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Embossing by Heather Shaw

Wow those are great embossing glazes. . Nice colors and the ability to change the embossing from lighter to thicker, so this ability creates a problematic look. The transparency of the embossing creates a beautifully varied image that allows the background to show through. Then of course the embossing pens and oxide glaze removes some of the oxide patina allowing all layers to show through and the additional embossing pens make this a great set at a very good price. I love this set. In the picture I overlay the leaves on thick and thin, so that one can see the need of a lighter one and also see the difference. It was on a Tim Holtz magazine card. I also engraved a little bird. I hope that the see-thru effect can also be seen there. I have tried to show the difference in gloss in the photos. I love this set, very complete set.
