The surface you place the mat on will get wet when using the steam - be careful!
I love the comfort of the carpet. He also makes neat stitches for my quilt blocks. I was just a little disappointed that the surface underneath got quite wet while vaping. I put a large piece of heavy plexiglass underneath to keep my desk dry. It didn't damage the plexiglass, but it was quite damp. I'm not sure what to put underneath to support this.
