I originally ordered 2 of these to use as housings for some LED bulbs I was experimenting with; They were cheap enough to be considered disposable. But I had to light one up to see what they could do. WOW! Lots of light with impressive spread. I have one of these in my 10x12 foot studio as a "night light" and I can read a newspaper in almost any part of the room. They're too "warm" for my taste, the color values are too subjective, but they're more yellow than white or blue; Maybe 2900, and I shoot for about 3500. Even my wife likes them, so now I have to get some more for the camper. Update: So far this has been a huge update to the original lightbulbs in our RV. Can't beat the price. The only potential downside is that there is no spare bulb. If they last half the time they're designed for, it's not a problem. I have a few hundred hours for the first test and it still works. Bought 8, maybe a few more. Note: Another comment mentioned TV interference and I installed 1 near the antenna which causes interference.
