Like the other reviewers, I had trouble setting up this little computer. Be sure to read the instructions and other reviews to learn how to install the magnet and sensor. The instructions say 5mm, which is perfectly acceptable in the middle of the fork. A NOTICE. You need to line up the magnet exactly where the little arrow is on the sensor (thanks to the other reviewers for pointing that out, because that's where I'm stuck. This is NOT covered in multilingual instructions!) Also, I've searched blogs for info on this my tire size calculation because I'm not a math genius. My tire size is 700c x 45. My wheel size is 2237. This size wasn't listed in the manual but I know they can't list them all. Thanks to this information, I was able to correct my original guess. This is important information for accurate readings. I plan to compare this to my GPS for accuracy (which I have compared to my car for accuracy). I took the bike for a test ride to make sure all the functions work and I plan to use it tomorrow. I also bought black zip ties The white ones don't fit my black bike and the b/ci leaked after a couple of attempts to mount the sensor incorrectly. looks much better with black zippers. I also used them to attach the wire to the frame. Overall I am very happy with the gadget which has more features than any other gadget I have looked at. In DST mode, it is easy to reset the settings by pressing the left button for a few seconds. This also resets other driving functions. All this is in the attached instructions. As with anything else there is a learning curve and with practice I'll be mastering this hot little device in no time. I also LOVE RED. It contrasts beautifully with my black bike. Given the issues others have reported, I have a great sense of accomplishment after digging into it in about an hour. It works great, looks good and has a lot of features for the price.
