I'd give it a 3.75 star rating if I could. These definitely add a bit of warmth under booties, they are very comfortable, and they do help to get your wetsuit off with less struggling. However, while surfing i've already had a couple of experiences of my booty and leash sliding right off of the sock at my foot/ankle. This occured while bailing after a ride and larger waves pulling my board when I can't keep it with me (and no, I am not one to commonly just bail my board). I have twice found myself swimming to shore to retrieve my board only to find the velcro on my leash strap still wrapped (i.e it wasn't leash velcro failure as my booty was half off my foot too). And yes, this actually did happen twice. I like this product for the previously mentioned attributes and will probably continue to use it.but I know to beware on bigger days and be sure to go extra snug on leash and booty strap!
