I really like the color saturation but the fabric is not what I expected. I was hoping for a woolier look. It's a mix of fleece and velvet. But they are very soft, which is much more comfortable than wool. They go well with my 18 inch pillow inserts. Overall they are well made apart from the number of stitches per inch which is an indicator of quality. If you turn the pillowcase inside out and look at the seams, the length of the seam is the length of the basting (temporary). So hopefully they hold up over time. I sew, so I'll probably be working on stitches when my sewing machine is set to a higher number of stitches per inch. But for the price I still think they're good value for money. Looked nice for the holidays so I'll be using them all year round.
