IF YOU ARE A BUDGET PLAYER.

Then let me get one thing straight. This monitor is a darn good buy. (27 inch 1440p/144hz) Let me explain why I feel this way. PROS: 1) This monitor is exactly what it says it is and what AOC told me. A solid gaming monitor that works as intended. There's not a lot of "bells and whistles" but that suits me. It has good color contrast (for a VA panel), is solid and the curve isn't excessive. 2) You'll have to edit the window and game settings to set it to 1440p/144Hz, but once you do that the picture quality is excellent. I haven't seen the fuzzy letters people are talking about, nor any dead pixel or screen flickering issues. It's a solid 10/10 on that front. 3) Blue light technology is also a great feature. I noticed a big difference between my old $80 1080p monitor and this one in terms of headaches, eyestrain and the like. I used to only be able to play for about an hour on my old monitor, with this I can comfortably play for up to 5-6 hours before feeling any tension in my head or eyes. CONS: 1) The base of the stand is quite large so it's difficult for me to find a good hand position when working with a smaller table, but that's a bigger issue for me than the stand itself. Those are pretty much the highlights for me. You don't want to shell out $350-$500 for a monitor with exactly the same features as this one. 10/10 would recommend immediately.
