I have to admit I was a bit nervous when I bought the air spring kit. I didn't think it was much for a 5 ton Grumman Olsen Kurmaster Step van built on a Chevrolet P30 chassis. I also had concerns about the installation as the driver's side axle housing is very short. I was intrigued by the idea of an internal bumper so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I was surprised at how easy and straightforward the installation was. I had an assistant and everything was done in less than two hours. The real shock was that with a light load it delivered over ten inches of lift at 85psi. The difference in driving a van day and night. There is no comparison before and after. Much better control and stability with this kit and now I understand it's essential for highway driving as I've never felt comfortable driving a huge van at over 60mph. Now it's comfortable to drive 65-70 without appreciable side-to-side pitching through the wind or semi-trailer. I would have done this many years ago if I had known.
