Obviously they are manufactured and supplied to a very low standard. The packaging itself (pictured above) was a redesigned phone case. The corks themselves have a very strong smell, similar to the smell of nail polish remover. So much so that I'm not sure if they're food safe. They leave an odor on hands after touching them. The images on the stoppers have a rubberized coating that is slightly tacky to the touch. I think that's the source of the smell. One of the stoppers has a notch on the top edge and the metal play comes loose (last 2 photos). It's not stainless steel, it has a metallic coating that looks like stainless steel. I bought them as a gift but I don't think they are edible. I am extremely disappointed.
