I am bald, my bones are old and I prefer to keep the temperature at home at 62F except in summer and even colder in the bedroom. So I wear something on my head most of the time and these beanies are perfect. I wear it when I sleep, even in the summer when the air conditioner is on. I wear one at home in cool weather. I sometimes wear it on the street. I have several of these, like a pair of socks. I have a large head - XXL or 7 7/8 - and they still fit comfortably despite having to hand stretch them the first time I put them on after a cold wash. However, they do not permanently lose their shape. A lucky find that has entered my life forever.
