Best dog basket I've ever tried - requires Trek MIK adapter plate Rack
I have a 12 lb dog that is a bit too heavy to carry in the front basket for safety reasons. I have a Trek City commuter bike and need to purchase a Trek MIK adapter rack specifically for this basket in order for it to work. this is the rear rack and the basket is sort of attached. It is indeed a very secure design and cannot come loose. This really is the safest way to transport a pet. Trek just discontinued this rack and will be releasing a new one in January 2022, but you can check and find it at various vendors.
