I'm not sure if any of them will work "perfectly". I like the simplicity, the ease of use and the looks. Not too much, but enough. You can only make it so tight with the design and don't want to overtighten. I might not have tightened it enough the first time (it fell off), but it seems to be working great ever since. Using your phone hands-free is by far the best way. There are other options like "phone cup holders" but I usually keep my cup holders full and when I use the vent I look straight ahead instead of away. bottom line? works well/excellent
