Review on PPbean Classic Pocket Camping Compass by Ellington Gardner

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good news that's great for the average man.

Much better than I expected. After reading some of the other reviews I thought it would be a cheap piece of crap but it isn't. Well, it's not a top-end compass, and I wouldn't bet my life on it in the middle of winter when you can't see anything, but for what it is it's fine. It will tell you where north is with some accuracy and pull you out of the woods if necessary. In terms of looks it's much better than I expected, it's a good deal if you don't expect a professional compass, but for a very good novelty that works really well I'm happy with it. If the magnetic poles turn 'N' to 'S' and 'S' to 'N' or anything in between, those $300 compasses people get are still going to be worthless right away. This one keeps looking better. (hahaha.)
