The cost of the filter is high. Why bother with a decalcification system if you're going to pay that much for a filter? (In addition to CA6700, 2 tablespoons of citric acid diluted in water constitutes the branded decalcification liquid 1000). The filter itself probably costs as much as a premium drink, which is $20. I'll take care of a coffee machine that uses inexpensive replacement parts or an analog system. I attempted to switch out the ca6702, but the larger neck diameter and resulting protrusion in the water tank's socket rendered this impossible.
