Professional quality light - as used in a nail salon!

I chose this lamp precisely because I recognized it as one of my favorite lamps in a nail salon; I always get a good, long-lasting manicure with this lamp. I've just started doing gel and shellac manicures at home and so far I'm very happy with my results. This is truly a professional quality curing light. It's just my personal (non-professional) opinion that it dries faster and harder than any OPI or Gelish light I've used in the salon. Also, it feels less awkward because the light hits all 5 of my nails at once and I don't have to twist my thumb. Also, it's easier to keep clean and hygienic than the others I've mentioned since there's no plate on the bottom of the lamp. You can easily use this gel or shellac pedicure light when you are ready to face the nightmare of removing gel nail polish from your toes. The lamp itself is really heavy duty - it weighs a lot more than I expected because it's basically solid metal. This isn't some cheap plastic thing that falls apart after a few uses! There is little to no customization; You simply take the lamp out of the packaging, switch it on and choose the time setting. My only caveat about this lamp is: keep gel polish/shellac, including base coat and top coat, away from the lamp. When the light comes on, everything within a 6-12" radius of the hole is healed. To avoid spoiling your supplies, keep them fully covered and behind a lamp when you get your nails in.
